Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with every Jaitragems purchase. If your item does not meet your expectations, our 30-day return policy makes it easy to return or exchange.

1. 30-Day Return Window
Jaitragems offers a generous 30-day return window on all eligible purchases. The return period begins on the date you receive your order, as confirmed by the delivery signature. If you are not completely satisfied with your diamond or jewelry purchase for any reason, you may initiate a return within this 30-day period for a full refund to your original payment method.
We understand that purchasing luxury diamond jewelry is a significant decision, and we want you to have ample time to examine your piece, show it to loved ones, or have it independently appraised. Our 30-day window provides the peace of mind that comes with knowing your purchase is risk-free.
Important Timeline
Returns must be initiated within 30 calendar days of delivery. The return shipment must be sent back within 7 days of receiving your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items received after the return window has closed may not be eligible for a refund.
2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- Original Condition: The item must be returned in its original, unworn, and unaltered condition. Diamonds and jewelry must be free from scratches, marks, damage, or signs of wear. Items that have been worn, resized, engraved (after purchase), or modified in any way are not eligible for return.
- Complete Packaging: All original packaging, including the Jaitragems jewelry box, dust pouch, authenticity card, and any accessories that came with the product, must be included in the return. Items returned without original packaging may be subject to a packaging replacement fee.
- Certification and Documents: The original diamond grading report (GIA, IGI, or other certification) must be included with the return. Returns missing the certification document will not be accepted, as the certificate is an integral part of the diamond's value and authenticity.
- Security Tags: If the item was shipped with a security tag or seal, it must remain intact and unbroken. Removal of the security tag may indicate that the item has been worn and may affect return eligibility.
- Proof of Purchase: You must provide your order number or original receipt. Returns initiated through your Jaitragems account will automatically be linked to your purchase history.
3. How to Return an Item
Returning an item to Jaitragems is a straightforward process. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure your return is processed efficiently:
Initiate Your Return
Log into your Jaitragems account and navigate to "My Orders." Select the order containing the item you wish to return and click "Request Return." Alternatively, contact our customer service team at returns@jaitragems.com or call +919898564220 to initiate the return by phone. Please have your order number ready.
Receive Your RMA Number
Within 24 business hours of your request, you will receive an email containing your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, a pre-paid insured return shipping label (for domestic U.S. returns), and detailed packing instructions. The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the return package. Returns without a valid RMA number will be refused.
Pack Your Item Securely
Place the jewelry item in its original Jaitragems box and packaging. Include the diamond certification, authenticity card, and any accessories. Place the jewelry box inside a sturdy outer shipping box with adequate cushioning material (bubble wrap, foam peanuts, or air pillows) to prevent movement during transit. Do not use the jewelry box as the shipping container.
Ship Your Return
Affix the pre-paid return shipping label to the outer package and drop it off at the nearest FedEx or UPS location (as indicated on the label). For domestic U.S. returns, we provide a fully insured, pre-paid return label at no cost. International customers are responsible for return shipping costs and must use a trackable, insured shipping method. Retain your tracking number for your records.
Inspection and Processing
Upon receiving your return at our facility, our gemological team will inspect the item within 2-3 business days to verify its condition and authenticity. You will receive an email notification once the inspection is complete, confirming whether your return has been approved or if there are any issues that need to be addressed.
Refund Issued
Once your return is approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method. Please refer to Section 4 for detailed refund timelines based on your payment method.
4. Refund Timeline
Refunds are processed after the returned item has been inspected and approved by our gemological team. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on the original payment method:
Refunds are issued for the full purchase price of the item, including any applicable sales tax. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part (wrong item shipped, defective product, etc.). If you used a promotional discount or coupon code, the refund amount will reflect the actual amount charged.
If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, please first check with your bank or credit card company, as processing times may vary. If you still have not received your refund after the maximum processing period, contact our returns team at returns@jaitragems.com for assistance.
5. Exchanges
Jaitragems is happy to facilitate exchanges if you would like to swap your purchase for a different item. Exchanges are available within the same 30-day return window and are subject to product availability.
5.1 Equal Value Exchange
If you wish to exchange your item for a product of equal value, we will process the exchange at no additional cost. Simply contact our customer service team and specify the item you would like to receive. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, the replacement will be shipped within 2-3 business days.
5.2 Higher Value Exchange
If the replacement item is of a higher value, you will be charged the price difference. We will contact you to arrange payment for the difference before shipping the replacement item. Exchanges for higher-value items also qualify for our complimentary shipping on orders over USD 500.
5.3 Lower Value Exchange
If the replacement item is of a lower value, the price difference will be refunded to your original payment method following the standard refund timelines outlined in Section 4.
5.4 Size Exchanges
We offer complimentary ring size exchanges for the first size change within 30 days of delivery. If you need a different ring size, contact us and we will arrange for the ring to be resized or exchanged for the correct size at no cost, including return and reshipping. Additional size changes beyond the first may incur a resizing fee.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange due to their customized or personalized nature:
- Custom-Designed Jewelry: Any piece that was custom designed or manufactured to your specifications, including bespoke engagement rings, custom settings, and made-to-order pieces.
- Engraved Items: Jewelry that has been personalized with engraving after purchase, including inscriptions, monograms, dates, or other custom text.
- Resized Rings: Rings that have been resized after delivery at the customer's request (first complimentary size exchange excluded as per Section 5.4).
- Items Without Certification: Any diamond or gemstone item returned without its original grading report or certification document.
- Worn or Damaged Items: Products that show signs of wear, damage, alteration, or have had their security tags removed (unless reporting damage upon delivery).
- Gift Cards: Jaitragems gift cards and store credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Sale and Clearance Items: Products purchased during final sale or clearance events marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase.
7. Damaged or Defective Items
Jaitragems takes extraordinary care in packaging and shipping every order. However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong product, we will make it right immediately and at no cost to you.
7.1 Reporting Damage
If you receive a damaged or defective item, you must report it within 48 hours of delivery. Contact our customer service team immediately at returns@jaitragems.com or call +919898564220. Provide the following information:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the damage, including close-up shots of the affected area
- Photographs of the packaging showing any external damage to the shipping box
- A brief description of the damage or defect
7.2 Resolution Options
For damaged or defective items, we offer the following resolution options at your choice:
- Full Replacement: We will ship an identical replacement item via express shipping at no charge. If the exact item is no longer available, we will offer comparable alternatives for your selection.
- Repair: For minor damage that can be professionally repaired without compromising the integrity of the piece, we will arrange for complimentary repair by our master jewelers, including all shipping costs.
- Full Refund: If you prefer, we will issue a complete refund including the original shipping cost and any return shipping charges you incurred.
7.3 Wrong Item Received
If you received an item that does not match your order, please contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange for the incorrect item to be picked up via our courier at no cost to you and ship the correct item via express delivery. You will not be charged any additional fees, and we will expedite the correct order as a priority.
7.4 Manufacturer Defects
Jaitragems stands behind the quality of our craftsmanship. If you discover a manufacturing defect within one year of purchase, such as a loose prong, clasp malfunction, or setting defect not caused by wear and tear or misuse, we will repair or replace the item at no charge. Manufacturing defects discovered after the 30-day return window but within the one-year warranty period will be handled under our Warranty Policy rather than this Return Policy.
