Shipping Policy

Every Jaitragems diamond is shipped with the utmost care, fully insured and securely packaged. Enjoy complimentary shipping on orders over USD 500.

1. Shipping Methods

Jaitragems partners with premium courier services to ensure your diamonds and jewelry arrive safely and on time. All shipments are fully insured from the moment they leave our facility until they reach your door. We offer the following shipping methods:

1.1 Standard Insured Shipping

Our standard shipping option uses FedEx or UPS Ground services with full insurance coverage. Packages are shipped in discreet, unmarked packaging to protect your privacy and security. Each shipment requires a signature upon delivery to ensure your package is received by the intended recipient. Standard shipping is available for all domestic (United States) orders.

1.2 Express Shipping

For time-sensitive orders, we offer express shipping via FedEx Priority Overnight or UPS Next Day Air. Express shipping is ideal for special occasions, last-minute gifts, or when you simply cannot wait to receive your diamond. Express orders placed before 2:00 PM EST on business days are processed the same day.

1.3 International Premium Shipping

International orders are shipped via FedEx International Priority or DHL Express, both of which provide end-to-end tracking and full insurance coverage. International shipments are handled with specialized care, including compliance with all applicable export and import regulations for precious goods and gemstones.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimated from the date of shipment, not the date of order placement. Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing before shipment. Custom orders and engraved items may require additional processing time of 5-10 business days before shipping.

Please note that these are estimated delivery times and actual delivery may vary due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, customs processing, holiday periods, and carrier-related delays. Jaitragems is not responsible for delays caused by these external factors, though we will make every effort to keep you informed of your shipment's progress.

3. Shipping Costs

Jaitragems offers complimentary fully-insured shipping on all orders over USD 500. For orders below this threshold, shipping rates are as follows:

All shipping rates include full insurance coverage for the declared value of the shipment. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.

4. International Shipping

Jaitragems ships to over 80 countries worldwide. We are experienced in international diamond and jewelry shipping and comply with all applicable export regulations, trade agreements, and customs requirements.

4.1 Supported Countries

We ship to most countries in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and select countries in Africa and South America. Some countries may have restrictions on the import of precious stones and jewelry. If your country is not listed during checkout, please contact us at shipping@jaitragems.com to inquire about availability.

4.2 Required Documentation

International shipments of diamonds and precious jewelry require specific documentation, including a commercial invoice, Kimberley Process Certificate (for rough diamonds), gemological certification, and a detailed packing list. Jaitragems prepares and includes all necessary documentation with every international shipment at no additional cost to the customer.

4.3 Restricted Destinations

Due to trade regulations, sanctions, or shipping carrier restrictions, Jaitragems is unable to ship to certain countries or territories. Orders placed with a shipping address in a restricted destination will be cancelled and refunded. Please contact our customer service team if you are unsure whether we ship to your location.

5. Order Tracking

Every Jaitragems shipment includes real-time tracking capabilities so you can monitor your package from our facility to your door.

5.1 Tracking Notifications

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email and SMS notification (if you have opted in) containing your unique tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking page. You can also track your order by logging into your Jaitragems account and visiting the "My Orders" section. Tracking updates are provided at each milestone, including shipment pickup, transit checkpoints, customs clearance (for international orders), out for delivery, and delivered.

5.2 Delivery Signature

All Jaitragems shipments require a signature at the time of delivery. Packages will not be left at the door unattended. If you are not available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will typically make up to three delivery attempts. After the third attempt, the package will be held at the nearest carrier facility for pickup. If unclaimed within 7 days, the package will be returned to Jaitragems, and we will contact you to arrange redelivery.

5.3 Delivery Issues

If your tracking information shows no movement for more than 5 business days (domestic) or 10 business days (international), or if the package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact our shipping team immediately at shipping@jaitragems.com or call +919898564220. We will initiate a carrier investigation and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

6. Shipping Insurance

Every order shipped by Jaitragems is fully insured for its total declared value from the moment it leaves our secure facility until it is signed for at the delivery address. This insurance is included at no additional cost and covers:

  • Loss: Full reimbursement if the package is lost in transit and cannot be recovered by the carrier after investigation.
  • Theft: Full coverage if the package is stolen during transit, provided the theft is confirmed through the carrier's investigation process.
  • Damage: Full coverage if the product arrives damaged due to mishandling during transit. You must document the damage with photographs and report it within 48 hours of delivery.

To file an insurance claim, contact our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery (or within 30 days if the package is lost). We will guide you through the claims process and arrange for a replacement shipment or full refund as quickly as possible.

7. Customs and Import Duties

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or other fees levied by your country's customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping cost charged by Jaitragems.

7.1 Customs Declaration

All international shipments are accompanied by accurate customs declarations that reflect the true value of the merchandise. Jaitragems is legally required to declare the actual transaction value on all customs documents and cannot understate or misrepresent the value of shipments. Requesting that we declare a lower value is a violation of international trade law and such requests will be declined.

7.2 Estimating Duties and Taxes

Customs duties and taxes vary significantly by country and are calculated based on the declared value of the shipment, the product category (Harmonized System code for diamonds and jewelry), and the specific regulations of the destination country. We recommend contacting your local customs office or using online duty calculators to estimate potential charges before placing your order. Jaitragems is not able to predict the exact amount of duties or taxes that may be applied to your order.

7.3 Customs Delays

International shipments may experience delays during customs processing. These delays are beyond Jaitragems' control. Common reasons for customs delays include random inspections, documentation reviews, and payment of applicable duties. If your shipment is held by customs, the carrier will typically notify you with instructions on how to proceed. Jaitragems will provide any additional documentation requested by customs authorities to facilitate the release of your shipment.

7.4 Refused Shipments

If you refuse to pay customs duties or taxes and the package is returned to us, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs, any duties or fees incurred during the return process, and a restocking fee of 5% of the order value. The remaining balance will be refunded to your original payment method.
